The Day I Was Born & Early Childhood
I was born on October 13th, 2005. I am the oldest child in my family and I have one younger sister. My parents have always supported me throughout my childhood and have helped me become the person I am today. I think that their love and guidance for me as a child helped me become a kind and honest person. Without my parents and their influence during my childhood, I would likely not be the same person currently. -
My First Piano Recital
I had my first piano recital in December of 2012. Piano is an important part of my life and I have been playing for about 10 years. Playing piano has taught me how to be disciplined and be dedicated when pursuing my interests. -
My First Trip To A Foreign Country (Mexico)
I took my first trip to a Cancun, Mexico in December of 2014. This was the first time I had been in a foreign country. While I was in Mexico, I became introduced to new cultures, traditions, and languages which I had never known of before. My trip to Mexico had a large influence in my choice to learn Spanish in school and it also prompted me to learn more about other cultures in the world. -
Covid-19 Pandemic
Being a student during the covid-19 pandemic was difficult in many aspects. It was the first time I ever learned remotely and was a big change from a normal school setting. The pandemic tested my abilities as a student and a member of my family. Despite its difficulties, I think that the covid-19 pandemic shaped me to be the student/person I am today and taught me to have perseverance when being faced with difficult circumstances. -
My First Car
When I got my car, I was given a whole lot of freedom that I did not have before. Getting my car was the first big step in my life towards being a more independent person. I can now go to school, go the gym, get groceries, and much more without being dependent on my parents. -
Swimming
I swam for the BVSW Swim and Dive team during the 2021-2022 swim season. Although I have been swimming for almost 12 years, I think that being on the school swim team is an experience I will never forget. While I was swimming, I learned about what it was like to be on a team. I have been on other sports teams, but the relationships I had with my swim teammates will always have an impact on me. Being on the swim team also taught me how to be a competitive and dedicated athlete. -
College
After high school, I plan to attend college either in-state (KU) or at another university which I find is good. I want to become a doctor, so I am going to get my doctor's degree after I get my bachelor's degree. I wish to spend my life helping people live happy and healthy lives. I feel that I can make a large impact on the people around me by being a doctor. -
Getting Married
After I have reached a comfortable point in my life with my education and my job, I would like to find someone special to date and eventually marry. I think that all of my hard work as a doctor will provide a good foundation for me to support a family of my own. -
Starting A Family
Some time after I get married, I would like to start a family with my wife. I want to have at least 2 kids and a dog to keep them company. I would like to have a son and a daughter because I feel that brother-sister relationships are great, however I will love my children no matter what. I have a sister, so I know how it feels to have a brother-sister bond. -
Becoming an Actual Doctor
After I get by bachelor's degree and my doctor's degree, I would like to start my residency to learn more about the field of medicine and gain experience working as a doctor. When I am done with my residency, I will have enough knowledge to become specialized in one field of medicine. -
Traveling With My Family
After I have my own family, I would like to go on a vacation with them and travel the world. I think that being a doctor will give me the financial stability I need to enjoy a vacation with my family. I have always wanted to go to Europe, so we will likely travel there together. -
How different would you be if you could have changed one or two events along your line?
I believe I would be a very different person if I did not play piano as a kid. Piano has had such a large influence in my life and has helped me find my love for music. Playing the piano has also given me something to be passionate about. Without piano, I probably would not have learned about qualities such as dedication and self-discipline. The Covid-19 pandemic also had a large impact on my life because it gave me a different perspective on life and made me work harder to do well in school. -
How flexible or fixed does your future seem do be?
I think that my future is fixed because I have already made plans regarding what I will be doing during and after college. In fact, I have known what my future will look like for many years now. Although everything may not go as planned, I am confident that I will attend college and become a doctor. Many people in my family are doctors, so there are some expectations set for me to meet. That is why I believe that my future is relatively fixed. -
What does your time line tell you about yourself?
My timeline tells me that I am a very hardworking and organized person. I have already planned out my future and am currently taking steps to ensure that I get what I want. I also think that my timeline represents me as a person and my interests in life. I have faced many challenges in my life but I have found a way to overcome them and accomplish my goals. I think that the events on this timeline have all played a role in helping me become who I am.
