    I have always loved working with children. I knew I wanted to be a teacher at a very young age. I got my ECE degree in 1982 after my first daughter was born. I started doing daycare in my home and had a son in 1983 and another daughter in 1985. I started a day care center in 1988 that was licensed for 30 children. In 1990, I had my third daughter. In 1994 I closed the daycare and moved away. I moved back in I996 started working as a teacher in 1997. I would like to become a reading specialist.
