On April 1, 1815 Otto Von Bismarck was born. For the first six years of his life Bismarck grew up on his family estate in Pomerania. A place in Northern Germany. Bismarck began getting qualifications for this position when he was appointed a delegate to the German Confederation Parliament. In the year 1859 he was made ambassador of Russia, and in 1862 he was made ambassador of France, and later that year he became the Prime Minister of Prussia.
