Pretty sure I was a nurse every Halloween. The fascination was there at a very young age! -

My aunt was in the ICU for months. I LOVED going to the hospital. I could not really explain it. At one point, I told my mom I would love to have my wedding in a hospital one day.
 -

Started volunteering in Palomar Hospital ER. I would do this for almost 4 years.
 -

At 20 years old, I saw a flyer in my local neighborhood to be a caregiver. I accepted the job of caring for a comatose quadriplegic man on life support with zero healthcare experience! I learned my nursing here! I was an "off-label" ICU nurse.

Did I mention every Halloween? lol. -

Graduated and became a Certified Nurse Assistant. -

Nursing school here I come! Best acceptance letter into Palomar College's Registered Nursing Program! Met a lot of awesome people. -

aka HELL but somehow we made it! They say history repeats itself...Let's go Lisa! -

  Officially official! RN!
 -

Applied to over 60 hospitals in California and got zero interviews! Moved out of state to Flagstaff, AZ to start my nursing career at Flagstaff Medical Center (FMC). -

Got trained for critical care but was placed MS/Tele due to my "bubbly" personality that management did not want to waste.I worked at FMC for 18 months. -

After getting my new grad RN experience, I moved back home to my "dream hospital" where I would work for 7 years on a Neuro Unit. I was mainly resource and relief charge most of my time there from 2015-2022. And... I got to work alongside my brother for years! -

I did not end up getting married in a hospital! Phew!!!! -

Started my RN to BSN program online at University of Texas at Arlington. Did 3 classes and got pregnant so I stopped.
 -

        Baby #1 -

Restarted my program. Did one class and got pregnant so I quit again. (Don't worry Tal haha)
 -

        Baby # 2, preemie born at 34 weeks. -

Crossed over into the aesthetic RN world! Pay is terrible, but the work vibe and benefits are heaven! My brother (fellow RN) was a part of my training and consented to this picture. -

I was over commuting for work on NOC shift, so I left Palomar to work at a hospital just over one mile from my house. I am per diem OBS/ front end in ER and I love it! -

So far so good, not pregnant! So excited to be the first cohort of this school! -

Graduate RN-BSN program!!!! Adding BSN after my name :)
 -

Entertain the idea of BSN to MSN after I drink some wine.
 -

        Retire as a nurse.
