Elie and his father march the death march and Elie is tattooed A-7713 on his arm.

Elie gets surgery in Auschwitz then boards open cattle cars to BUchenwald.

Elie's father dies due to dysentery and starvation.

Nazi soldiers and the Jews march to Dachau to avoid the Red Army.

The Buchenwald camp is liberated and Elie and other orphans are sent to France.
