Fredonian Rebellion
Haden Edwards forces Old Settlers to pay additional land fees. Settlers mad. Government mad. Mexican government snatches Haden´s contract. Haden mad. Starts his own little Republic of Fredonia. Very short-lived but successfully sparks everything else leading to the Texas Revolution. -
Mier y Teran Report
Government was nervous about any future rebellions. They sent Mier y Teran (first name unknown) to report on any activity going on at the settlements. The government discovered that the majority of people living in Texas were, from the U.S, and didn´t even bother to learn Spanish or adopt Catholicism. M.y.Teran also recommended to the Mexican government that they should send more troops to the forts to enforce laws and reinforce laws and encourage Mexicans and Europeans to settle in texas. -

-Further immigration from the U.S is to be outlawed.
-Uncompleted Empresario grants will be canceled
-European&Mexican colonists will be encouraged to move to Texas in order to dilute any U.S influence.

Anahuac&Turtle Bayou Resolutions
Bradburn arrests Travis and Jack for protesting till other Americans come to rescue him. They then wrote the Turtle Bayou Resolutions to explain why they attacked Anahuac and prove their loyalty to Santa Anna. -
The Election Of Santa Anna
Mexican troops fighting in the revolution were successful. Santa Anna and his Federalist Party were successful. Santa Anna is now elected president and many Americans see hope in their future.
An interesting note: it would appear Santa Anna was elected on (apparently-) April Fools Day. spoiler: Santa Anna eventually becomes a dictator and fights AGAINST the Texians. Looks like that ¨ḧope¨ wasn´t real after all.
