Germany and Hitler were all changed. He was first a spy in the army. Later about 2 years later he declared himself the party’s fuehrer (absolute leader).

After the war, they came out as the Weimar Republic. It was similar to the US just with a legislature. They pushed for nationalism. -
When Hitler tried to take over and or overthrow the party was very small. It states "He got caught, but Hitler’s trial gave his party lots of publicity. On his release from prison in 1924, Hitler pledged to make the NSDAP into a legitimate party – not to participate in democracy but to use it and destroy it from within."

When this happened it kinda saved Hitler's election. As it states "The Great Depression (1929) led many German voters to look to more radical parties, such as Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party."

Austria had its own Nazi group. In 1938 the Australian chancellor held a vote for Australian independence. Hitler claimed that it was rigged, but he decided that he relinquish the power or face invasion.

In 1933 he started building and doing concentration camps. These camps were conceived as secure holding facilities for political prisoners who disagreed with Nazi policies and ideas. Hitler then gained the support of the German Army because he killed several leaders.

Hitler continued to pick up support for himself and his party. It was close the president was trying his hardest, but Hitler was fighting harder. -

The Nazis introduced the Enabling Act into the Reichstag. The Enabling Act allowed Hitler to govern without reference to the Reichstag. The act passed 444-94. The Nazis rigged the vote by arresting dozens of members of other parties. More than 24 Reichstag representatives did not attend the vote, after being intimidated.

President Hindenburg died and Hitler assumed control of the government. The new leader would be titled as the fuehrer and would act as head of state, government, and armed forces. Most of all Germans voted for Hitler. -
In 1935 Hitler reintroduced the draft. It states "By the start of 1939 Germany’s armed forces boasted more than 900,000 soldiers, 8,000 aircraft, and 95 warships." There was a lot of soldiers and more.

He began claiming that Germans in the Sudetenland were being persecuted by Czechs. He met the British prime minister 3 times. The first time he agreed to Hitler's demands. At the next meeting, Hitler demanded German forces be granted immediate access to the Sudeten region.
