Signed in Paris. Germany were forced to accept it. The treay saw German lose territory & colonies. She was forced to accept responsibility for WW1 and would have to pay reparations of 32Billion gold marks.

In March 1920, Herman Ehrhardt, a former naval commander led a group of Freikorps soldiers to take control of Berlin. Ehrhardt was protesting against the decision by Friedrich Ebert and his government to accept the Treaty of Versailles.

Hitler's trial began on 26 February 1924, and Hitler was sentenced to five years Festungshaft (literally fortress confinement) for high treason

Hitler released from prsion

Hitler was released from prison on 20th December, 1924, after serving just over a year of his sentence. The Germany of 1924 was dramatically different from the Germany of 1923.
