If you were lucky enough to have a VCR that had a built in timer you could record your favorite with little stress. If not, you better be home when that show started so you could hit record. Just make sure you are not recording over someone else's treasured program.

When I started college at UVU I had my own personal computer. It was awesome to go to my bedroom, instead of the school computer lab, to type and print essays.

When I was 18 my mom bought me my first "Emergency Only" cell phone. I was instructed to keep it in my car and it could be used only in an emergency. FYI I still have the same phone number 29 years later!

When I was 19 I bought my first car, that had a car payment, it was a 1992 Eagle Talon. Best feature, 6 disc CD changer, located in the trunk of the car.
