Last Day of 7th Grade
School is out! We are no longer 7th graders! We lost again at the kickball tournament. It doesn't feel like school should be out yet! -
Memorial Day
Today is Memorial Day. I was not in Hawarden to play with the band. If you did play in the band, you would get your name put in a drawing. If your name was drawn, you would get a ride in Mr. Larson's plane. -
Flag Day
Today we went to a flag burning that the boy scouts did. Everyone had a chance to put a flag on the fire and dedicate it to someone. Every year one of the scouts puts the ashes from the previous year onto the fire. Then when the ashes cool down, they take some ashes and put them into a container to put on the fire next year. Before the burning we got a really good meal. -
4th of July
I made lots of cookies called cherry bombs. They were delicious. My family went to a friend's house. The boys were at boy scout camp. -
Evan's Birthday
Happy Birthday, Evan! He is now 6. He had a white cake. On the cake were cat decorations. -
My Dad's Birthday
Happy Birthday! He didn't want cake. I made him rice crispie bars. I think he is 45 now. -
First Day of 8th Grade
We are back in school again. My brother Aaron is in 6th grade this year. I am now an 8th grader. I have algebra.
