  • Beginnings: Prenatal Development

    My mother started to feel me moving and kicking. My weight was about 20 ounces.

  • Beginnings: Birth

    I was born in Alexandria, Egypt. I was 4.20 kilo and 50 centimeter.

  • The First Two Years: Psychosocial

    My parent celebrated my 7th day after birth when I was introduced to other family members.

    I started crawling around the house.

    I said my first word, Mama.

    My parent celebrated my first birthday. I was happy and tried to sing with other kids.

    My younger brother was born at home and I watch my Mom giving birth.

    I started kindergarten and had my first friend.

    I started to sing long songs for Oum Kalthoum, a famous singer at that time.

    I graduated from grammar school and joined middle school.

    I graduated from middle school and joined secondary school. I made lots of friends

    I celebrated my 16th birthday. I got my national ID.

    I have grown to 5'10" tall.

    I graduated from secondary school and attended Medical School, Alexandria University.

    My older sister got married.

    I got my first tooth to be pulled, it was very painful.

    I had to repeat the second year of Medical School. I decided to travel to USA.

    I got married for the second time. My new wife and I moved to Egypt.

    My wife moved back to USA and I stayed back in Egypt alone trying to finish Medical School.

    I moved back to USA and opened a Pizza restaurant.

    I went to LPN school.

    Graduated from LPN school.

    I got divorced and moved to Michigan. I got my Michigan LPN license and started working as a nurse.

    I got married for the third time.

    I became a father for the first time at age of 43, I had my daughter and only child.

    My daughter started school.

  • Late Adulthood: Biosocial

    My daughter got married.

    My daughter had son, I became a grandfather.

    I retired as a nurse.

  • Late Adulthood: Cognitive

    My daughter moved in to help me with my daily needs.

  • Death

    I die at 75 years old from a heart attack. Heart disease runs in my family.
