    HIred at Nasco Arts & Crafts, where I worked with my best friends during the summer.

    Voted High School Homecoming Queen

  • Second job

    Hired as the public library's page.

  • College acceptances

    Accepted to UW-Madison, my dream school. Also, accepted to UWM, Marquette University, UM-Twin Cities, etc.

  • Money Matters

    Was awarded over $100,000 in scholarships. Local scholarships and UWM Chancellor's Scholarship for Diversity and Leadership made up the amount.

  • Freshman year

    Begin studies at UW-Milwaukee. First in my family to attend a four-year university.

  • School job

    Get hired at PSOA Box Office.

  • ASB to New Orleans

    Participated in service trip to New Orleans, La.

  • Broadcast Club

    Voted Presdient-electa and president of the Broadcast Club at UWM

  • Study abroad!

    Study in Paris, France for three months.

  • Brother in the army

    18-year-old brother leaves for basic training.

    I become an aunt!

  • Internship

    Begin 3-4 month reporting internship at Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service.
