I was born with a rare birth defect called congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH). Which is an abnormality that occurs before birth. Either a hole forms or your missing part of your diaphram. I personally had a whole in my diaphram. All of my organs were in my chest causing me not to be able to breathe and my lungs weren't fully developed. I had only a 20% chance of living and I went through 20 surgeries within the first 3 months of me being born. CDH occurs 1 in 5,000 births.
