With both of my parents working, my grandma took care of me when they weren't home. My first word was Tata, which is grandma in Arabic. -

According to my parents, I was the most quiet, as well as the shyest of their kids. I didn't cry much and was very relaxed as a child. -

I was the chubbiest baby out of my siblings, but at around the age of 5 I became very active and become much thinner, even though my mom couldn't keep me away from the candy! -

I contantly wore pink and threw a fit everytime my mom tried to dress me in anything other than a dress. -
Cognitive- Bilingual 6 year old
I was very fluent in both English and Arabic by the age of 6. -

I went to an Arabic Sunday school every week where I learned to read and write. -

My first group of best friends started in the third grade. We had sleep overs every weekend and spent most of our time at school together. -

Around the age of 10, it was starting to show that I was going to be the shortest of my friends. -

This was the physically awkward stage that I remember all too well. My body shape started to change and acne was not my best friend! -

Middle School was the time when I was so tempted to slack in school, and probably would have had it not been for my parents who emphasized the significance of education. -

My sophmore year of high school was when I had my first relationship. -

My freshmen year of college is when I started eating very healthy and spending at least 5 days a week at the gym -

I plan on being married at the age of 24 after completing nursing school. -

My degree in nursing would be followed by a Master's degree. -

I'd like to be more traditional with my Middle Eastern background by the time I have children and continue that tradition with them. -

Religion may be the biggest aspect of my life at this point. Material objects mean much less than they once had. -
