My Journey to Teaching

  • High School Graduation

    Received diploma from PA in NH

  • Started College

    Started college at Rivier, pursuing a degree in pediatric nursing.

  • Switch to Education

    Nursing was not for me, but I came to the realization that I wanted to teach at the elementary level!

  • Student Teaching in Londonderry

    Began student teaching placement for elementary and special education at a district close to home.

  • Worked as a 1:1 Paraprofessional

    After student teaching, I was hired to work 1:1 with a student as a paraprofessional.

  • Started teaching summer school

    I got my first teaching position for the summer!

  • Started working as a Grade 1 Special Educator

    Started my first year of teaching as a grade 1 special educator

  • Grade 1 General Educator

    Was hiried to work as a grade 1 general educator for the 2014-2015 school year
