My Highschool Career

  • First Day of Highschool

    First Day of Highschool
My first day of highschool. I had no idea what to expect. I was certainly nervous, but also excited to start this new chapter of my life. I remember highschool having a relaxed atmosphere in comparison to middle school. I didn't have classes with any of my friends, so I was forced to make new ones. At this point in my life I was shy and reserved, so making new friends didn't come easily. At least my low friend count gave me ample time to do school work and my grades showed it.

    First Day of Sophomore Year
Starting up my sophomore year was a breath of fresh air. I was no longer the youngest group in highschool. This is the year that I began coming out of my shell a little. I made a few friends and I had a couple of love interests, but nothing serious. My grades were good for the most part. During my sophmore year I discovered some of my biggest hobbies. This includes watching anime series and youtube videos.
  • Safe Path Annual Fundraiser Ball

    Safe Path Annual Fundraiser Ball
One of the most exciting experiences of my sophomore year was the Safe Path fundraiser ball. A good friend of mine at the time, Erin Martin, invited me to go to an event hosted by the non-profit organization her mother worked for. Safe Path raises awareness for child abuse and provides therapy and safe living conditions for children affected by it. Erin and I dressed in our finest clothes to attend the ball. We showed our support for Safe Path.

    First Day of Junior Year
Junior year was an exceptional year for me. I truly emerged from any kind of shyness or introversion I had previously. I met all of my best friends during this year. I was constantly hanging out with them, goofing around, and enjoying myself. Some would even say I goofed off with my friends too much, because for the first time in highschool I failed a couple of classes. Although even that wasn't bad, because at summer school I rekindled a friendship with my best friend from my childhood.
  • Me and My Girlfriend Started Dating!

Me and My Girlfriend Started Dating!
Throughout my entire highschool career I hadn't had a serious relationship, at least not until now. For months I had my eye on this cutie Erin Martin, the same girl I went to the Safe Path funraiser ball with. We were best friends for years, but suddenly I saw her in a romantic light. On Martin Luther King day of 2013, we went to the Fernbank museum together. That's where I spontaneously kissed her, and that's where our relationship began.

Erin Martin and I, while in our newly established relationship, went together again to the annual Safe Path fundraiser ball. I surely enjoyed the first Safe Path ball, but this one was even better. We were served divine food cooked by renouned chefs, dressed in our finest of outfits, all while listening to the heads of the Safe Path organization share their experiences and stories. Not to mention I was with my girlfriend the whole time, I couldn't have been happier.
  • First Day of Senior Year

    First Day of Senior Year
My Senior year of highschool was definitely my best. My girlfriend and I are still dating, it's been about a year and a half now. We're more than happy together. I've never had such a successful relationship. I failed a couple of classes my first semester, but I'm going to complete my second semester without a scratch. Senior project helped guide me to my future plans of becoming a writer. This year taught me the most about myself and life in general.
  • Spring Break Disney Vacation!

    Spring Break Disney Vacation!
My girlfriend and I went to Disney together with her family. This was the single best vacation of my entire life. I had never been to Disney before this point. We had a wonderful time together. We stayed together for an entire week. During the vacation we stayed at a marvelous hotel, just the hotel was almost as fun as Disney itself. We ate at a plethora of high end restaurants too. I can't say I've ever done anything quite like it.
