    I was born at 11 am at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, MI.
  • Period: to

    The First Two Years

    *Biosocial: I was nursed till almost 1 year of age, and given a normal baby food diet. I developed physically and mentally within the normal percentiles.
    *Cognitive: I said my first word at 10 months, "Ball" .. besides the usual "momma" or "da-da"
    *Psychosocial: I was a very outgoing toddler, bossy/sassy and not afraid of strangers. I learned to use the potty by age 2.

    Early Childhood

    *Biosocial: Hit by a car at age 4, when my mom thought my big sister was watching me, but I ran out in the street.
    *Cognitive: I was in a pre-k and montessori school by age 3.
    *Psychosocial: I was put in "time-out" or sometimes even spanked because I was always testing my parents to their limits.
  • Period: to

    Middle Childhood

    *Biosocial: Started playing soccer and tee-ball and taking dance classes all with my school friends. Also noticed my eyes were going bad and had to get glasses at age 8.
    *Cognitive: Gave my first big memorized speech in front of a crowd at age 10.
    *Psychosocial: Experienced bullying by a girl I thought was a friend and fought back getting in trouble at school for the first time in 3rd grade.

    Adolescence

    Biosocial: started "puberty" for female
    Cognitive: earned awards at M.A.M.U.N conference for Global Ed. Class
    Psychosocial: started relationship with my now husband Patrick @15
  • Period: to

    Emerging Adulthood

    Biosocial: Played competitive soccer
    Cognitive: Graduated from Michigan State
    Psychosocial: Moved iaway to Atlanta with Patrick for first time
  • Period: to

    Adulthood

    Biosocial: Have babies and raise family with Patrick
    Cognitive: Have a long, developing, successful career as R.N.
    Psychosocial: Care for our aging parents
  • Period: to

    Late Adulthood

    Biosocial: Experience first serious illness Cognitive: Develop some dementia Psychosocial: Hopefully celebrate 50 years of marriage with my husband and continue to be active
  • Death/Dying

    Biosocial-: Get diagnosed with terminal cancer Cognitive: Say my "goodbyes" to family left Psychosocial: Spend my last days surrounded by loved ones and eating whatever I can :)
