    To Avenge their defeat Texas soldiers and Mexican soldiers fought once again at San Jacinto and came out victorious. This was important as it marked the end of the Texas revolution.

    The US officially recognize Texas as the Republic. This was important as it created more tension in the war because Mexico assumed the US were going to take more of their land.
