I joined a group called Best Buddies which is a group that pairs students with disabilities with general education students. We did activities together and got together for special occasions such as birthdays, Christmas parties, Halloween, etc. I got a new buddy each year. When I participated in my last year of the Best Buddies program I worked with my buddy in her speech therapy sessions. It was a cool learning experience.
