  • Quatratic Equations

    Quadrtic equations relates because you have to make an equation to find your parth of travel. You have to find the 0. The 0's mean whree the object started and where it landed. Once you find that then the middle of the start and end, then it would be max height of the projectile. It will also tell you the amount of time it spent in the air
  • Quadratic Formula

    ax^2+bx+c. This formula has an advantage over factoring because it gives you the vertex. Also factoring isn't always the easiest because if it is (x+12)(x-153), you would have to find all of the factors of 153, and then go through the process of elimination. Its also not very ideal to switch from vertex form to factored form. The vertex form gives you the vertex. This means that the point it gives you is as high as the parabala goes, and it is also in the middle of your start and end time.
  • Projectile Formulas

    Projectile Formulas
    y= -490t2+(Upward Velocity)(Starting height)
    x=(forward Velocity)(seconds in air)
  • Angle of Launch

    The hgiher the angle the higher the rocket will go. So if the angle is 55, it will go higher than if the angle was 30. But if the angle is smaller, it will go farther. So if the angle is 45 it will go farther than the angle of 60.
