Millau Viaduct
As far tall bridges are concerned, France’s Millau Viaduct is the tallest bridge in all of human civilization; each post measures 343 m (1,125 ft) from top to base. The bridge spans across the valley of the River Tarn near Millau in the Southern portion of France and received a 2006 IABSE Outstanding Structure Award for its integrity in light of its slender elegance. -
The Three Gorges Dam
The Three Gorges Dam is a hydroelectric dam spanning the width of the Yangtze River near the town of Sandouping, China. Regarded as a feat of historic proportions by the Chinese government, the dam is the largest power station in the world, producing a total of 22,500 MW (11 times as much as Hoover Dam). -
Opportunity the Mar's Rover Landed
In their quest to study soil, rocks, atmospheric conditions, and microscopic particles, NASA launched a rover named rover into space to land on Mars. Opportunity landed in 2004 with an estimated life-span of 90 Martian days, but is still operational 9 years later. -
Khalifa Tower
The tallest free-standing structure in the world is situated in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Khalifa Tower is the tallest of all skyscrapers with its 829.8 m length. Officially opening in January 2010, Burj Khalifa is the centerpiece of Dubai’s primary business district. Everything about the structure is record-breaking: highest number of stories in the world, highest outdoor observation deck, highest occupied floor, tallest service elevator, and longest elevator travel distance. -
Evo IX
The Evo Ix is a AWD four door sedan. It is widely known as a sports car. It has 286 horse power stock and produces about 289 pounds- feet of torque. It is a car that I really would like to own along with its younger sister the Evo X. -
Blu-ray
Blu-ray or Blu-ray Disc (BD) is a digital optical disc data storage format. It was designed to supersede the DVD format, in that it is capable of storing high-definition and ultra high-definition video resolution (2160p). The plastic disc is 120 mm in diameter and 1.2 mm thick, the same size as DVDs and CDs. -
Best Year of School
My second grade year of school was the best. I have such great memories of how it was always fun and we always through parties. -
First year of Middle School
My first year of middle school at Wilder Middle School was very fun. -
Graduation
When I graduated my eighth grade year I was so happy to be going to high school and my eigth grade year was a really fun year too. -
Wifi Cars
The 2015 Chevrolet Corvette, Impala, Malibu and Volt will be the first to come optionally equipped with OnStar 4G LTE. The new system will eventually be offered on most GM vehicles -
Freshman Year
My first year of high school was extremely fun and I had a lot more freedom than in middle school. -
IPhone 6s
iPhone 6s is the name for Apple's 2015 lineup, consisting of iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. The iPhone 6s was introduced on September 9th, 2015 at Apple's event in San Francisco. Apple says iPhone 6s is the "most advanced smartphone ever". -
