A Day in Chicago
We both arrive in Chicago in the morning and we spend the day there before taking off for Ireland in the evening. We take the train into town to dine at one of the 21 best sandwich places in the US and take in the Muppet movie before heading back to O'Hare for our evening flight to Dublin -
Our 1st Day in Ireland - We arrive in Limerick
We touch down in Dublin around 9am and catch a bus to Dublin Heuston, where we enjoy a capuccino before boarding the train to Limerick. We arrive at Limerick's Colbert Station around 1:40. It's less than a 10 minute walk to our hotel, No. 1 Pery Squary, Our room isn't ready,so they serve us tea while preparing it. After a short rest, we head our for dinner, whence we discover everything is booked because it's Ireland's Mothers Day. We make a late reservation for Chololat, eat,and head to bed. -
Our Full Day in Limerick
We wake up around 9:30 am, have breakfast at the hotel, then head to the Medieval Quarter where we visit St. Mary's Cathedral and King John's Castle, then eat a late lunch at Glen Tavern (best chips in Ireland). After quickly freshening up at the hotel, we head to Bunratty by bus and enjoy a Medieval feast. Bunratty Castle Medieval Feast -
