I started Kindergarten, but quickly learned I was not quite ready for school.

We participated in a Titanic unit in 3rd grade where I got to recreate a 3rd class cabin out of a shoe box. It was so much fun!

Our 5th grade class invested in stocks and I did pretty good! I ended up investing in real stocks when I realized I wasn't so bad at it.

Before I started middle school, I got to go to DC on a trip through a summer program called Kaleidoscope.

I participated in school sports for the first time by trying out and making the cheerleading time! I cheered all through middle and high school.

I won 2nd place in the 7th grade spelling bee!!

I participated in a program called PEPI, which was what made me want to become a teacher.

I got accepted at NC State University!! Go PACK!!

One of my favorite English teachers of all time planned a unit on Harry Potter and we got to play quidditch in class.
