When my great-grandmother passed
My great-grandmother passed away in 2008, when I was 11 years old. It was a low point in life for all of us. She was the one that kept us whole, and when she passed, it was like she took a piece of all of us with her. -

Meeting my best friend
In the 7th grade I met my best friend Alexia. She has been like a sister to me ever since. She has been there for me through so much and I can't imagine growing up without her. -
Meeting my boyfriend
Meeting my boyfriend was the best thing to ever happen to me. He's everything I could have ever asked for and more. My family loves him as much as I do and that means so much to me because I am so close with them. -
Promoting from 8th grade
Promoting from the 8th grade was such a great relief for me. Middle school was just so unexciting and I couldn't wait to go to high school. I didn't get along with two of the teachers and I hated wearing uniforms. -
Sophomore year
My sophomore year was the funnest year for me in high school. I had good grades, lots of friends, and I was going out with them almost every weekend. It was just a good year in general for me. -
Losing 30 pounds
Towards the end of 2013 and beginning of 2014 I had lost 30 pounds. I was starting to eat healthier and drank lots of water. Losing those pounds made me a lot more confident in my self. -
First job
My first job was a low point for me. I was treated poorly at the fast food restaurant, so I had quit after a month of being employed. The manager was a very rude and condescending person and I was not willing to put up with that for only $7 an hour, and only 10 hours a week. -
Getting my license
Getting my license was an accomplishment to me. It took me several times to learn how to parallel park and it was so frustrating. However, when i went to take the drivers test, I passed the parallel parking test in one try! -
Enrolling in Primavera
Enrolling in primavera has made life so much easier for me. I am so grateful that I can stay home with my daughter and get an education at the same time. I know when I graduate from here, I will feel just as accomplished as any other high school student. -
Having my baby
Having my daughter was the ultimate high point in my life. I had such an amazing pregnancy and labor. Everything all went so smoothly and perfect. She is such a good baby and she is my biggest motivation to succeed in life. Everything I do to better our lives and to succeed, is for her. I've never been more motivated than now.
