    In 1927, The Long March was a march where Mao Zedong led his followers through a march 6,000 mile journey. There were 86,000 walking but then when the march ended there were 8,000 survivor. They were dying of hunger because of lack of food. They were marching because Mao Zedong was told he was under attack. Mao Zedong convinced volunteers to join his cause. He became the top Communist leader.

    On June 25, 1950 North Korea and South Korea fought. the Korean War began when some 75,000 soldiers from the North Korean People's Army poured across the 38th parallel. American troops had entered the war on South Korea’s behalf. This war brought communism. It brought communism because in this war people were invading other people's land. So land was just there for anybody to get. Communism caused lots of wars just like this one.
