However he was killed in a battle before he finished the journey. his crew finished it for him, being the first crew to ever sail around the world.     henry decides that he does not want to be married ti his first wife, Catherine of Aragon, any longer. He sends his advisor, Thomas Wolsey, along with many lawyers to convince him. The pope refuses his request. This refusal will lead Henry to create his very own religion, the Anglican Church, so he can get his divorce. Had the pope said yes, that would have never happened.     in this year, Henry finally decides to make the break with the pope. He creates his own faith and his subjects are no longer Catholic but Anglican, his new and improved religion.     Finally, Henry's third wife gave him the son he had desired. He was named Edward, and later when he ruled would be known as Edward VI.     At two in the morning onjanuary 28th, 1547, King Henry VIII dies. The cause of his death may have been many things: ulcerated legs, his weight, and fevers that might have been malaria. Shorty after his death, Edward took the throne. He poves not to be a good ruler, and is suceeded by his half sister Mary. She also is not skilled with using her royalty. However, Henry's daughter Elizabeth was a very worthy queen and ruled for many years.
