I was born on July 7, 2000. I was born in Richmond, Virginia, at about 9:45 at night. I was born at Saint Mary's Hospital in Richmond. Because I was born in 2000 I am considered a millennial. My age always matches up with the year. For example, I turned seven in 2007. -
First iPod Made
The first generation of the iPod was released to the public on October 23, 2001. This device drastically changed the way people would listen to music. Instead of listening to a CD, people could download their music online in mp3 form, and take it with them anywhere. I remember my mom got this iPod as a gift. -
Sister Born
My little sister Christine was born on this date of June 6, 2002. She was born at home, instead of in the hospital like I was. She was born in 2002, and I was born in 2000, so she is two years younger than me, and my little sister. We both now go to Deep Run High School. -
Facebook
Facebook is a social media website used all around the world by millions of people. Facebook was created by Harvard student Mark Zuckerburg, who originally made the website as a "hot or not" website for college students. The actual Face book was released on February 4, 2004. -
Nintendo Wii Released
The Wii by Nintendo was released to the public on November 9, 2005. This video game console was different that most, because it required movement from the player, and encouraged exercise. I remember having fun playing sports games on the Wii when I was younger. -
Twitter
Twitter is another very popular social media forum. On this website, users can send and read messages up to 140 characters. Twitter was created by Jack Dorsey, Evan Williams, Biz Stone, and Noah glass. This social media website was released in July 2006. -
Start Playing Basketball
I started playing basketball in the first grade when I was six years old in the local Henrico County Parks and Rec league. That was when basketball became my favorite sport, and I have been playing ever since. Basketball has taught me teamwork, hard work, and discipline. -
First iPhone
The first iPhone was created by Steve Jobs and Apple. It revolutionized the cell phone business with one of the first smartphones. This phone used a multi-touch touchscreen, and had several other new and exciting features that made the iPhone extremely popular, even a decade later. The first generation iPhone was released on January 9, 2007. -
First iPad Released
The first generation of Apple's iPad was released on January 27, 2010. Another one of Steve Job's great creations, the iPad was the perfect fit for being bigger than a phone, but not a full computer. My mom has one of these first generation iPads, and they are fun, interactive, and very useful. -
Graduated Elementary School
I graduated from Rivers Edge Elementary School. I went to Rivers Edge Elementary School for kindergarten, when I was 5 years old, until I graduated fifth grade at 10 years old. I had a lot of fun in elementary school, and learned a lot of things and made a lot of friends. -
Tesla Model S
The Tesla Model S is an all electric car made by Tesla Motors. This car was the first electric car to top monthly sales in any country, and was the best selling plug-in electric vehicle of 2015. The Tesla Model S was also the third fastest accelerating production car ever. The Tesla Model S was released in June 2012. -
Start High School
I started ninth grade at Highland Springs High School. I attended Highland Springs High School my freshman year instead of Deep Run where I was zoned, because I was accepted into their specialty center of Engineering. I transferred back to Deep Run my sophomore year. -
Hooverboards
The first hoverboards, or self-balancing scooters were released in the summer of 2015. This new small vehicle consists of two wheels side by side, with two platforms on either side that the rider stands on. These became very popular the summer of 2016, but unfortunately had problems with people hurting themselves and exploding batteries. -
Started AAU Basketball
I started playing Amateur Athletic Union(AAU) basketball when I was in the eighth grade. We would play in tournaments all over Virginia and in other states. I first played for a team called Henrico Wolfpack. I later played for a team called James River Blaze.
