    Stalin was born on December 18, 1879. He was son of Besarion Jughashvili, a cobbler, and Ketevan Geladze, a washer woman. Stalin was born in Gori Russia and into bitter poverty. Due to obstacles throughout his life Stalin would become one of the most feared dictators in History.
