Paper was seen as a luxuory by many. Papyrus was used by ancient Egyptians where they wrote on plant-based sheets. It was then developed and changed in China by a man named Cai Lun. -

The ball
Nobody knows the exact date balls were invented but a ball made of linen rags and string was dicsovered in an Egyptians tomb back in 2500 BCE. It is believed that people started playing with balls in 1650 BCE -

The invention of the alphabet was somewhere in the 11th century. It was first started by people of the Mesopotamian people which is now known as modern day Iraq. -

The telephone
Old telephones were big, bulky, and the audio wouldnt of been very clear. They were very rare to spot at peoples homes, schools, univeriities and other places and were only for rich people. Evenetually the design of the telephone was redone and has since eveolved. -

Gunpowder isnt used as much today as it was in the 1900s (WW1 and WW2). Gunpowder was mainly for weapons used to attack other countries, but humans have since found other substitues such as dynamite and oil.
