Italian nationalists were angery because the Big Three had borken promises to Italy. So they captured the port of Fiume. For 15 months, Fiume was governed by an Italian nationalist called d’Annunzio. The League did nothing to help the situation.

The islands were located between Finland and Sweden and the countries could not decide who it belogned to. The League’s decision was that the islands should remain with Finland but they are not allowed to harbor weapons there.

Greece and Bulgeria had a common border. In 1925, sentries patrolling this border accidently fired on one another and a Greek soldier was killed. Thus, the Greek army decided to invade Bulgaria. The League sent experts to the border and decided to blame Greece. They were fined £45,000. Both countries accepted this decision.
