    John Barber invents a gas turbine. These were early bicycles invented in Scotland

    Eli Whitney creates a machine that is easier to separate cotton from their seeds. It ruduces time istead of doing it by hand

    Humphry Davy invents the first eletric light. This would be considered a lamp to us today.

    The telegraph is something that sends messages quickly through a wire.

    The sewing machine helps people to make their own clothes and to help other people make their clothes. This is important because it is a faster way to make clothes.

    Joel Houghton was granted the first patent for the dish washer. This helped them becasue they would be able to clean their dishes why they were doing other things around the house.

    Henri Giffard built the first airship with the first aircraft engine. This design that he created did not turn out very well.

    Hamilton Smith patents the rotary washing machine. This helps becasue it will be eaisier for the people to clean their clothes.

    Richard Gatling patents the machine gun. This help in the wars during the Industrial Revolution.

    Alfred Nobel invents dynamite which is a safer way to blow holes in the mountains sides.

    Vaccines helped prevent many common diseases in this time. This helped people live longer.
  • Four-Stroke Combustion Engine

    Nicolaus August Otto invented the first four-stroke combustion engine. This will help with new cars and better transportaion.

    This was not the first telephone made but Alexander Graham Bell was the one who got the patent for it.

    Tomas Edison was not the first to create the light bulb but he was the first one to make a light bulb that lasted for a long period of time.

    Alexander Graham Bell invents the first working metal detector. this will help people fine things in the ground to learn about their history.

    Orville Wright was the first guy to make a powered airplane. They buildt their own engine for this powered airplane.

    Henry Ford built a car that was much cheaper then other cars becasue of the assembly line allowing more people to buy the cars.
