Influence on language: Texts were exchanged between Indians and South East Asians. This influenced language; scripts and storytelling materials were traded. Languages were also interpreted for trading purposes.
Diversity: Intermingling of people from different cultures occurred. The winds had very specific patterns and if missed, travelers would be stuck until they picked back up again. -
