It is ideal to set more realistic goals for yourself and then go from there. Some things to consider are what are your limitations on excercising. What is your diet like? Are you getting enough sleep? (Pg. 8). These are all things to consider, even though your goal is to workout more, if you don’t get enough sleep you won’t be energized to workout!

Establishing time frames on your goals is a helpful way to get a head start (Pg. 9). For example your time goal could be you want to lose 5 pounds in one month.

My mom works out a lot but she struggles to lose weight and fat. She workouts out almost everyday but sees no results. One thing she didn’t understand was that she also needed to eat healthier if she wanted to achieve those goals. So she started eating healthier and working out more and was able to lose 4 pounds in 1 month which is more than she has seen before.
