    Hitler Youth
    Hitler Youth was created as a part of the Nazi Party. This formed a stronger relationship between a younger generation and the Nazi Party. The photo above shows just how young the members of Hitler Youth were.

    With the world in economic depression, Germans were faced with poverty and no jobs. This led to citizens supporting the Nazi Party with the hopes they will end the depression and get them back on their feet.

    The fire of the Reichstag was the first oppurtunity that lead Adolf Hitler to get power. He got President Hindenburg to issue a Decree to have power over citizens for "protection". This is a important part of histroy because this was Hitler's first bit of power in Germany. The photo above is the Reichstag while on fire.

    This was Hitler's step in the door with the Government. He was then known to be a man of power because he took over a piece of government showing what he was capable of. This is when he started to become power hungry.

    The Nuremburg Laws were enforced by the Nazi Party to distance the Jewish population from Germans. They stripped basic human rights away from the Jewish.

    Before the Nazi's were incharge of Germany, the Olympics were going to Berlin in 1936. Hitler was going to decline this offer once he was in power but he used it to his advantage. He covered up all the propaganda of the racism going on. This helped promote and spread their views to gain more supporters. He made Germany look like nothing wrong was happening and the Nazi's were an advantage for Germany. Adolf Hitler used the Berlin Olympics to mask what was going on, to have a better world image.

    Kristallnacht
    Kristallnacht was the German citizens/government targeting the Jewish poulation in a night. They destroyed homes, buisnesses and graffitied properties owned by Jews. This led to them to moving into Ghettos with horrible living conditions. Once Kristalnacht was over the Jewish victims were fined for the damages that the Germans caused.

    Babi Yar was a ravine in the Ukrainian city of Kiev. This is were the Nazi's killed over 33,000 Jews in a two day span. Babi Yar is the location of the few of many massacres led by Nazis. This point of history shows just how determined the Nazi's were to make the Jewish population extinct.

    At the Wannsee conference were the plans for the Final Solution were approved. The Final Solution was the last stage of their plans to wipe out the Jewish population. This was the most deadly stage of the Holocaust. The photo shown is where the Wannsee conference was held.
