    Out of my 202 other freshman classmates, I ranked #14. Me and my mom attended an award ceremony where JROTC students performed and it was announced.

    This was my first time of my scholastic career that I have received all A's. I had a perfect grade performance on the last quarter of that year. This was my template and motivation to continue this.

    Getting accepted to UIC was joyful as it was on my top 3 schools. I know the environment and have my grandpa nearby. UIC is a great college and can help me enhance and gain skills although school isn't the only place you can learn.
