    After already months of hostility from non-Jews, the Jewish people were being discriminated against, by law. They were only allowed to marry other Jews, weren't even considered citizens anymore, which meant they were not protected by law.

One of the most prevalent boats is the St. Louis, with over 900 passengers with the majority being Jew's. Unfortunately, due to the Cuban Government, their landing passes were revoked, and they had to return.

Millions of Jew's were being executed, making it one of the worlds biggest genocides known to man. Along this time, Hitler had invaded Poland, which officially marked the beginning of World War II
