    Hitler held a rally at a Munich beer hall an proclaimed the need for a revolution. The next day he led 2000 armed "brown shirts" to try and over throw the bavarian government.     At this time Hitler was imprisoned and during his imprisonment he wrote "Mein Kampf". This book described his views on the future of Germany.     Rise to Power
    After his release from imprisonment Hitler tried to win elections to get in to power. This day was one of his first and it granted him only 13% of the vote.
