Hitler is born on April 20, 1889 in Braunau Am Inn, Austria. His parents Alois and Klara, According to Historical Significance, this was a significant event in history since Hitler was the person that everyone remembers till today for his wrong doings such as the Jewish Holocaust. -
Hitler's Father Collapses
Hitler's Father Alois died within minutes from a lung hemorrhage. According to Historical Significance this was a key event in hitlers life since his dad wanted him to go into to civil services and he wanted to persue his dreams in art and the pressure was relived when his father had died, although it was a sad event for him, Hitler's family was in a better position financially. -
Hitler moves to Vienna. Key Event
Hitler moves to Vienna. He plans to attend art school there but when he is rejected by the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts, he gives up on his dream. According Cause and Effect, when he was rejected by the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts, his views changed about Austria and he began to hate them. He also wanted to be in the Austrian army and there also he was rejected for being too weak. The rejection had led him to volunteer and join the German army in 1914 -
Hitler begins military service in World War I.
After ignoring his army orders in 1909 because of his hate for Austria and later being rejected by the Austrian army for being too weak, Hitler volunteers for Germany. With a war happening, medical examinations were not a strict and Hitler is accepted. According to Cause and Effect, when Hitler was rejected by the Austrian Army, he volunteered for Geramny and ended up serving them in World War 1. -
Hitler is blinded
While fighting the British, Hitler is blinded by a mustard gas attack. He regains his sight but while he is recovering he is deeply depressed and spends much of his time crying. According to Cause of Effect, the Ausrian Army rejection to Hitler led him to join the German army and this led him to fight Britain in which he was blinded. -
Hitler volunteers to identify Socialist Republic sympathizers
In Munich, Hitler convinces the German army that he is against socialism and avoids arrest. He helps the army find other soldiers who did support socialism and he is recruited to be a political officer. According to Historical Perspective, in Hitler's veiws socialism was right and he did not support or treat the people with different veiws in a right manner. -
Hitler is elected the leader of the new Nazi Party. Key event
Hitler wins the election and becomes the leader of new political party. The party believed that equality is only for Germans, not Jews or immigrants. The party became more known because of Hitler’s powerful speeches in front of large crowds. According to Historical Significance, many Jews were affected because of him being elected leader. The genocide had begun from this event, if Hitler wasn’t elected leader he wouldn’t have been powerful to start the genocide and/or The Jewish Holocaust -
Hitler is sentenced to five years in prison for treason.
The Nazis unsuccessfully try to take over the German government and Hitler is sentenced to prison for five years for treason. According to Cause and Effect, when Hitler was rejected by Austria, his hate towards Austria had increased and he betrayed Austria by joining the German squad. -
The Jewish Holocaust begins. Key Event
The Nazis, led by Hitler, begin to systematically eliminate Jews from Eastern Europe. At least six million Jews will be killed, many in brutal concentration camps, before the Holocaust ends in 1945. According to Continuity and Change, a lot has changed since the Jewsih Holocaust took place, Many people now are taking action if anything like this happens in this day, There many things today that will be able to prevent something like this to happen again. -
Hitler becomes Germany's dictator.
After being named chancellor of Germany in 1933, a presidential election is held in 1934 that Hitler easily wins, partially because he vows to fight communism. He is now firmly in power as dictator of Germany with the title of Fuhrer. According to Continuity and Change, Germany changed into a Democracy since they was in dictarship when Hitler was in power. -
Hitler survives an assassination attempt
Hitler escapes serious injury when a bomb explodes at his headquarters in Berlin. It is the third assassination attempt against Hitler. According to Historical Perspective, Many people didnt agree with Hitler's Veiws on Jews and immigrants and because of his veiws people wanted him dead and this is why there were 3 assassination attempt. -
Hitler orders the destruction of the Germany. Key Event
Hitler decides that since Germany has lost the war, the country does not deserve to survive. He orders the destruction of the railroads, highways, and other important features of German industry, but the order is not obeyed. According to Ethical dimension it wasnt right for Hitler to order the destruction of Germany since he had lost the War, it wasnt morally right because destruction wouldnt have benefited him, but instead hurt the people of Germany, which resulted in them not obeying his order -
Hitler commits suicide in Berlin
Probably trying to avoid being captured by Soviet troops, Hitler kills himself. He commits suicide by shooting himself in the head while biting down on a poisonous cyanide capsule. According to Cause and Effect, because of Hitler's wrong doings and loss in World War 1, many people wanted Hitler dead and he killed himself. His wrong doing led him into commiting sucide.
