    German invaders attacked The western Roman Empire so that made Constantine move to the Mediterranean. they rebuilt the city of Byzantine and named it Constantinople. after that he named it the new capital of Rome.

    There were many riots because Emperor Justinian was unpopular because of the reforms he had made. The riots were very violent and there were many deaths and buildings destroyed. After the riots he comes up with a way to make Constantinople better by rebuilding the church of Hagia Sopia.
