Madame Cook School was wild known for being only female private school. She belive that females should have equal education as in the men. She and her students was known for giving to missionaries also was highly respected by everyone in town. Madame Cook open this school in 1837 to 1855

Bloomfield High school hired a coach name Bill Foley. He was first coach to be hired at the high school and he coach the basketball, Baseball.
