Baptized into the Catholic Church
For my family and religon, it is curcial to be baptized as a young infant. Being baptized into the Catholic Church, means a lot to me because it was my first step closer to God. -
Permisson Granted to Come to the U.S
In the month of November in the year 2000, my Mother, Brother, and I where granted the miracle of coming to the United States. I can say I am truly blessed, to be here in the U.S today. I sometimes wonder how different my life would be, if they wouldnt have gave me my visa. -
First Day in the U.S.A
On January 27, 2001 my Mother, Older Brother, and I moved to the United States. We left Guadalajara in the morning and arrived in Chicago later that day. When we arrived at Chicago my Aunt (who lived in Fort Wayne) was waiting for us , to take us to our new home! -
9/11
What happened on September 9, 2001 impacted everyone in the United States. For me, although I was only two it impacted the way I was growing up. After 9/11 occured, it was harder to get in and out of the country and the US governement got stricter. Besides from that, when I grew older every year on September 9 was a depressing day. -
Preschool Graduation
In the year of 2004, I graduated preschool for the last time. I attended preschool for 2 years, and remember loving school. It was always a thrill wake up, and get on the bus to another day of school. -
Marriage
On this day my Mother married my Step Dad which changed my life for the better. My Step Dad is who I call my Dad, which means a lot to me. -
Vacation To Mexico
This vacation meant alot to my family and me, because it was our first time going back to Mexico since we had moved here. -
Baby Brother Born
On December 1, 2005 I was no longer the baby of the family anymore. I was blessed to have a Baby Brother, who is 9 years old now! -
First Holy Communion
This as another steo closer to God. -
The 2008 Recession
The 2008 Recession impacted my life, because I remember things were hard for my family for a while. I remember walking home when my brother came on his bike to tell me, my Dad was on "vacation for a while." -
Explorer Award
During this year, I developed the skill of great academic achievement. This award means more then most people would think, because after so much hard work I finally acheived what I wanted.. -

Leadership Award
On May 27, 2013 I was awarded with the skill of leadership. I know this award impacts me today during group projects, and it made me want to go out and help my peers. -
First Day of High School
During this school year I got to develop several different skills. The biggest skill I develop was being able to adapt to change. I had a hard time adapting to change, but after I got through it I loved it. -
Ebola Outbreak
The Ebola outbreak opeded my eyes to what is going on across the world. I was never fully aware of what other countries face, unitl then. -
Mom becomes a U.S Citizen
On this day my Mother did soemthing she never though would be possible. -
First Car
On July 20, 2015 I got my first car. Just like anyone else, I was overwheelmed with excitement, but I was more proud that I bought it with my own money. The car I bought was a 2005 Pontiac G6.
