Freshman Year
This is a picture I took of myself the first day of my freshman year. I was really excited because I really hated middle school. I was going to be in school with my brother ( senior) and my sister ( sophomore). This was the first day of this long 4 year journey. -
Freshman Year Homecoming
This was my first high school homecoming. It was so much fun getting a limo and riding around with my freinds then going back to the school for the dance. I got to take some pictures with my sister before we both left for ou separate groups. It was a perfect first high school homecoming. -
ELite Company
I have been dancing at Steps Dance Center since I was 2 years old and my dream has always been to eventually make it to thr top Elite Company. This year I finallly made it. This was the best group in the entire studio and I was in it. This year was the first year my dancing started to really improve. This year was a major turning point in my dance career. -
Fun. concert
Fun. is probably my favorite band ever. And when my dad got me and my sister tickets to their concert I was exstatic. It was general admission so we were standing right in front of the stage. After this concert my life changed. They have so many songs that I had emotionally connected to and to actually see them live brought me to tears on the spot. -
16 th birthday
Because I was born in August I had a super late birthday. While all of my friends where alread 16 and soon to be 17 I was stil 15 waiting to be 16. I was always the one who couldnt drive anywhere which was super innconvenient. Once I turned 16 though I could finally get my license. -
Junior Prom
Prom was definitely one of my favorite memories from high school. It so much more than homecoming and everythign about it was perfect. Spending all night with my close friends dancing and having fun in the limo was a major highlight of that night. -
Overall Award/ Last Competition
It has always been my goal to recive an overall award at competition for my solo. This year I finally pushed myself hard enough to actually achieve it. This was also the very last time I compteted on stage for my studio. Once I graduate I am no longer eligible. I have spent my entire life at this studio so leaving is one of the hardest things I have ever had to experience. -
Senior Pictures
Im graduating! I would say that my road here has not been an easy one. I started off high school with the wrong mind set. I didnt think freshman year grades would matter. It really messed me up in the long run. After that first year I was put in the lowest of classes with not so happy enviroments, which only brought down my motivation. But I made it. I got to take senior pictures with my best friend since freshman year as we graduate together. -
College
I will be attending Valdosta State University as a Dance major. I hope to one day open up my own studio and continue to perform for as long as possible. I am so excited to start this new chapter in my life. I have learned so much from these last 4 years at Etowah and they will help me go through college the right way.
