  • Short-term

    1st Practice, it sucks you are sweaty, it hurts, you used up 2 1/2 hours you could have done other things. “Getting one more important memo written now will “look” more attractive than getting 15 minutes of exercise, almost every time”(Hilliard City Schools 9).

  • Long-term 30 days

    You body gets stronger though out the season season. You still hurt very practice but throughout each season it hurts less. You get more physically fit. Your hard work and short-term pain is starting to pay off.
  • Long term 4 years and beyond

    After high school you now respect your body and want to keep it in shape. You have learned life lessons such as hard work and commitment. Although the short-term hurt you came out as a better person; more physically fit and more in control of your life. All of this Justifies the short-term pain you underwent. “This combination of steps is the result of a domino effect where one event produces similar and connected events to start as well”(Hilliard City Schools 7).
  • Why make that healthy decision

    Although the short-term causes you to be uncomfortable and takes up a lot of time but the pay off is so great. You learn life lessons and are more devoted to your physical fitness and health.
