This says that even though you might not feel results at first, you will eventually get there so don't give up.

Like all goals I need to research what I need to achieve this goal. “you need to research the goal before you commit to it and to enable you to prepare suitable Action Plans for achieving it” (page 9).

    For this goal I need to set timeframes and mini goals so can stay on track of my goal. “Setting suitable timeframes for action items and goal completion is critical for achieving goal setting success” (page 9). This says that if I don't set mini goals then I will think that the goal is too hard or will take too long to achieve.
