    Mein Kampf, which means "my struggles" or "my battle," is about Hitler's his youth, early days in the Nazi Party, future plans for Germany, and ideas on politics and race. He did not actually write it, instead Rudolf Hess wrote it while Hitler dictated in his prison cell and later at an inn at Berchtesgaden. He discussed the Untermenschen, or the racial inferior, as well as, the Aryan, who arethe supreme form of human, or master race. He attacks the Untermenschen, especially the Jews.

    The great deppression was longest lasting and deepest ecenomic deterioration in history. It all started on October 24th 1929, when the stock market crashed. There were a total of 28.9 million shares traded within a weeks span and many of those shares were then worthless. The hardships of the Great Deppression led to the rise of Adolf Hitler. The aggression of Germany then led to a war in Europe that broke out in 1939.

    Hitler Becomes ChancellorAs the support for Communism and the Nazis increased, people became afraid communism would take over. The moderate parties had no choice but to support the Nazis to keep the Communists out. Hitler used his skills as a charismatic speaker to talk about unfortunate times and rose to power. Chancellor Schleicher's government failed so he proposed a deal to make Hitler Chancellor and him vice. On 1/1/33, the president agreed and Hitler became the fuhrer of Nazis, as chancellor of Germany.

    Opened on March 20th 1933, Dachau, controlled by the Nazi's was one of the first concentration camps created. Two days after the camp was created, the first of the prisioners arrived in Dachau. Although, ending in 1945, Dachau is the only camp that was open from 1933 until 1945.

    In 1931, the International Olympic Committee awarded Germany as the host of the 1936 Summer Olympic Games. Hitler estabished a policy that only allowed Aryans to play in German athetic organizations. Just before the 1936 Summer Olympics, Germany removed anti-Jewish signs and newspapers.Many countries were talking about boycotting the Berlin Olympics. 49 Olympic teams came, and after the games people thought that Germany was peaceful again but just three years later Germany invaded Poland.

    On December 7, 1941, the American Naval Base at Pearl Harbor near Honolulu Hawaii, was attacked by hundreds of Japanese fighter planes. 200 American planes and almost 20 naval vessels were destroyed. 1,000 American sailors and soldiers were wounded and almost 2,000 more were killed. Then on December 8th 1941, one day after the assult, Congress was asked by President Franklin D. Roosevelt to declare war on Japan.

    Chlemno was the first of the death camps that the Germans set up. Celmno was located in Poland and on December 8th 1941, murder procedure first began. The primary victims were Jewish people who were in the Lodz ghetto and those in that region. This camp went out of operation in January 1945.

    SourceHitler went to his bunker on 1/16/14, because he wanted to be in Berlin for the last great siege of the war. Hitler's bunker was 55 ft under the Reich Chancellery. It had 18 small rooms and was fully self-sustaining. While there he worked on German defenses and entertained other Nazi and German leaders. Hitler was warned that the Russians were only a day or so from overtaking the chancellery and was urged to escape. He instead chose to kill himself along with his newlywed wife on 4/30/14.
