I was born
My mom had me when she was 21. She was in college and graduated when I was 1. I love her and am proud that she didn't let having a kid stop her from continuing her education.
My dad was 20 and he was working. I am proud that he is a great dad. I know a lot of girls today whose "baby daddy" doesn't care about their kid, but my dad wasn't one of them. -
6-9 months old
I was the cutest kid ever! I am the only child in my immediate family at this time. So needless to say, I was SPOILED!! -
3-4 years old
I am still the only child in my family at this time. I am still the cutest kid ever!! My mom loves this picture and said, "You always wanted your hair braided, and you loved showing your belly." -
Kindergarten
During this school year, my mom got married and I gained a step-dad and a step-sister who is 2 years older than me. She goes to the University of Alabama and will be working at Disney World when she graduates. My step-dad is a Prattville Police Officer. -
1st Grade
During this school year my dad got married and I gained a step-mom and step-brother who is 2 years older than me. He is a taekwondo master! My step-mom is a wonderful woman who is a great friend to me. -
2nd Grade
During this year I gained my first little brother on January 12, 2000. This one is my dad and step-mom's son. -
3rd Grade
During this year I gained my second little brother on March 11, 2001. He is my mom and step-dad's son. So now I have a little brother from my dad and one from my mom. -
4th Grade
This is the year 9/11 happened. I remember sitting in class and a teacher ran down the hallway yelling for everyone to turn the news on their TVs. I didn't know then how bad this incident was, but I vividly remember this day because everyone was so upset and acting frantic. -
5th Grade
During this year I took my first trip to Disney World with my mom's side of the family. I definitely remember this trip more than a lot of other ones. -
6th Grade
This was my last year in elementary school. -
7th Grade
This was my first year in junior high school. I was so nervous about going to a new school. Change always scares me. -
8th Grade
This was the year I got braces. I had them put on just 3 days before this picture was taken. Those things were AWFUL!! -
9th Grade
This is my first year of high school. Again, I was nervous about starting a new school, but this time I had great friends there with me. I got my braces taken off in April of this year. -
10th Grade
This was the year my fiancé asked me out. We met at church and had known each other for about a year before we started going out. He was a year older than me and went to a different school. He asked me out on August 10th, and we have been together ever since!! -
11th Grade
This year I was in show choir at my school. I loved it! I got to sing and dance every day, and we traveled to Mississippi to perform. We performed at a few local places also. -
12th Grade
This is my last year of high school. I was so ready to leave that place!! I got in my first car accident the weekend spring break started. I sprained my elbow and my car was totaled. It wasn't my fault. I didn't cry until I was sitting in the ER and I realized prom was 2 weeks away. I looked at my mom with tears in my eyes and told her, "I'm going to have a cast for prom!" Thank goodness I only had a cast on for a week, and the doctor gave me special permission to not wear my sling that night. -
College
I moved to live on campus at the University of South Alabama. I was ready to get out of the little city I lived in! The saddest thing was that my boyfriend couldn't move to Mobile with me. I had gotten better at change by now. I was ready for change at this point actually. -
Engaged
On December 17th, my boyfriend asked me to marry him. Of course I said YES!! We are hoping to get married on August 10, 2013. This will be our 6 year dating anniversary. I miss him so much since we are still long distance, but that will change soon!
