Zeus is a god in Greek mythology. He's considered to be the supreme god of all the gods. Zeus is said to have delegated his powers to his brothers and sisters (the other gods) after freeing them from the belly of their father Cronus. The statue shown here is a depiction of Zeus.

Theater - performance like tragedies and comedies took place in the theater. Some cite that orcheatra and religion practices were also held in the theater or theatron as if was called. This practice spread throughout Greece, but began in Athens. Theaters could accomodate about 14,000 people.

Developed during the 4th to 5th century in the city-state of Athens Greece. Athenian democracy included all men no matter their financial status. All were equally heard, when votes were casts the majority ruled. The ecclesia meant up to 4 times a month, which would be up to 40 times a year since the Athenian calender had only 10 months.
