    The Armenian gennocide started in 1915 and continued untill 1923. This was when the turkish army killed 1 Million to 1.5 Million Armenians. It is widely known to be one of the first gennocides in the 20th century.

    Joseph Stalin starved the Ukrainian people of grains. by the spring of 1933 people were dieing at the rate of 25,000 people a day. most of these people were childeren. there have been many suspicisoins that this was not a gennocide however most of the evidince proves that it was.

    Mao Zedong came into power in 1943. He then began to follow in Joseph Stalins footsteps. He was dealing with a national famine when he came up with his plan dubed " the great leap forward". He picked this name because he was trying to jump china's weak economy forward to compete with the western nations.

Pol Pot had a vision of restoring Cambodia to a farming country. This meant for him to kill off any educated person or any person who seemed like they had an education.
