    Sits up steadily, reaches for spoon, and eats with fingers.
  • Eight Months

    Picks up large objects, pulls self up while holding on to furniture. Propels self by arms, knees, or squirming motion.
  • Nine Months

    Is more skillful with spoon. Reaches for and manipulates objects, including medium-sized ones, with good control.
  • Ten Months

    Stands holding on to furniture or other supports, crawls on hands and knees, walks when led.
  • Eleven Months

    Shows preference for one hand over the other, holds drinks and from a cup. Fits blocks, boxes, or nesting toys inside each other.
  • Twelve Month

    Picks up small objects thumb and forefinger, stands alone, and may walk alone. teaches baby how to work certain things, and where they come out.
