The Beginning
This is where the history of Forte Para Sempre begins, one of my great ancestors was born in Portugal and moved to the Country of Amor in the year 1837 when she married her husband who was a Count at the time. -
Moving on up
About a year later she had born a child and it was a girl. At the same time the King Alexander and Queen Geneveive had borne a son and this is where our story begins. -
First Sight
It's the year 1856 and the King is having a ball for Prince MichaelAngello's 18th Birthday. This is where the two young lovers meet. -
Just a Quick Note
It is about two years later and the two lovers eventually convinced everyone for their marriage and this is how my family gets into the royal family. -

History of Rulers
Most of the Rulers of Amor are women. After the first ancestor, Queen Carolina lost King MichaelAngello to an illness in 1863, she not only raised their three children alone but never remarried and ruled alone. Since then it has been a woman's country. Queen's rule almost completely by themselves even when married to a King and the daughter deemed most qualified by the people gets to be crowned Queen after her Mother passes on. For nearly 160 years my bloodline of Queens have ruled Amor. -
The Great and Terrible
50 years later and my bloodline is still going strong. However a war has started. Our rivals from the country of Impureza are trying to take over our beautiful land. We have already lost half our army and are in the midst of a drought so food is scarce. -

The Rival War
The war lasted for five years. We almost lost our land, it is a shock that we even won the war. For the first three years the turnout looked bleak for us because we went through two different droughts both lasting months at a time. Meaning little food for our people and our military men and women. But eventually things got better and our farms flourished, more men and women joined the army and eventually it came to a surrender from Impureza because we simply outnumbered them. -

A Time of Peace
For the most part we are a fairly peaceful country. We hardly ever get involved in war between other countries. We no longer are rivals with Impureza and we often trade goods with each other. The country has flourished and we don't have hardly any debt. Lots of people move here from all over and we are a very diverse country. -
Princess Karley
I was born on November 18,1995. How I came to be is very nontraditional compared to our history. I have two moms, instead of a mom and a dad. So at the time the kingdom was ruled by two Queens. Eventually my mothers did separate, and this is when I come in... -
Coronation
In the year 2011, my moms split. Instead of just my birth mother becoming queen after the split, I did. Although most princesses are not crowned until at least 18, my situation is slightly different. Needless to say I had to grow up very fast. While I do have a group of people to lend their advice, I was mostly on my own. -

Today
With some struggle, I have been ruling for 6 years. Our country does have a military trained and ready however, we have not been in war for a while. We do grow a lot of our own food but we do get a lot of food imported as well. We trade with many other countries in order to help the economy and we continue to flourish.
